"one of the biggest superstars that this country has seen."
Ranveer Singh has decided to part ways with YRF Talent after 12 years together.
The superstar was launched by YRF when he made his debut in Maneesh Sharma’s 2010 film Band Baaja Baarat, a film that made him a star overnight.
Since then, Ranveer has been managed by YRF’s talent management agency.
After 12 years, the two have decided to part ways, leaving on good terms.
An industry source explained: “YRF will always be home for Ranveer Singh.
“Aditya Chopra punted on him as a rank newcomer, who has since then become one of the biggest superstars that this country has seen.
“He has been mentored, groomed, and shaped to become the icon that he is today.
“So, the relationship between the two is and will always be solid and precious as ever.
“Ranveer was being managed by YRF’s talent management agency and they have now amicably decided to part ways in this regard.
“Ranveer and YRF will continue to collaborate together creatively as and when they can come together for an exciting project.
“The relationship between Ranveer and YRF has always been and continues to be one of immense mutual respect and affection.”
Ranveer has reportedly already started searching for new agencies and will make a decision soon.
This comes shortly after Parineeti Chopra also left the talent management agency.
The actress goes a long way with YRF and has been associated with Yash Raj Films and its management wing.
According to a source, the production house is “like a home” to Parineeti and she amicably parted ways so that she can explore other avenues and is moving to another talent management agency.
The source said:
“Parineeti and YRF go back a long way, and the production house is like a home for her.”
“So there is no animosity involved here. She wanted to explore other avenues, and is moving to another talent management agency.”
