In a recent podcast appearance, Zaviyar Ijaz offered insights into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of Sang-e-Mah.

The drama’s characters, portrayed by an exceptional cast, contributed significantly to its success.

Notably, Zaviyar had the unique opportunity to share the screen with his father Nauman Ijaz.

Their on-screen dynamic was particularly noteworthy. In Sang-e-Mah, both actors portrayed the roles of a father and son.

They delivered performances that resonated with authenticity and emotional depth.

It is also because of the captivating depiction of the characters by Zaviyar and Nauman Ijaz.

The duo engaged in gripping and emotionally charged scenes in several episodes of Sang-e-Mah and now, Zaviyar shed light on how the entire sequence was meticulously crafted and executed.

He shockingly revealed that Nauman Ijaz actually hit him in some scenes and the slaps were real in Sang-e-Mah.

Zaviyar stated: “All the scenes you see where I am being slapped, those slaps are real. They were not in the script.”

Delving into filming a scene, he said: “In one scene I had to block my father’s slap.

“My father told me that in that scene, he will hit me for real and I had to stop the hand for the scene.”

He was able to block the slap successfully and the director clapped for this iconic scene.

Zaviyar further revealed that later in the drama, he was slapped again in another scene, causing him to fall. His father than kicked him twice.

Zaviyar confessed: “The tears you see in my eyes are from the pain from those kicks.”
