"Everyone look at me, cameras look at me."
Manrika Khaira, a 28-year-old TikTok star and the runner-up on The Circle Series 3, is making waves on The Sidemen’s new reality show, Inside.
Known for her quick wit and unfiltered commentary, Manrika has found herself at the centre of controversy following an “embarrassing” joke directed at fellow contestant Joe Weller.
As Inside unfolds on YouTube, ten celebrities are living together for seven days, competing for a grand prize of £1 million.
The drama kicked off when Manrika commented on Joe Weller’s obsession with a FaceTime girl, suggesting she might be unfaithful while he’s in the house.
The remark, accompanied by an indecent gesture, left the contestants in shock and Joe visibly upset.
Joe Weller, a well-known YouTuber, didn’t take kindly to Manrika’s joke, calling it “disgusting” and “vile.”
He expressed his frustration in the confessional room, stating that Manrika’s constant need for attention was intolerable.
“Shut up! Just constantly chipping in with something about her. ‘Everyone look at me, cameras look at me’. We’re all thinking it as well, I know you are,” Joe vented.
The tension between Manrika and Joe escalated, with Joe declaring her a “mortal enemy” and Manrika retaliating with harsh words of her own.
The incident has sparked a flurry of reactions from fans, with some criticising Manrika’s behaviour and others commending Joe Weller for his mature response.
Manrika Khaira, who is Punjabi, is best known for her appearance on The Circle, where she finished as the runner-up.
Hailing from the Black Country, just outside Birmingham, she has built a significant following on TikTok, where she “chats s*** on the Internet.”
Despite her success, Manrika admits that her accent often annoys people, but she remains unapologetically herself.
After appearing in Channel 4’s The Circle, Manrika told BirminghamLive:
“I’m a Walsall girl. I live here. I’m a Black Country girl. I have a small circle of friends and live on a council estate. Everyone knows everyone, and I love it.
“I’m just a normal girl. I’m just trying to make my council estate kingdom smile.”
Manrika, a former recruitment worker, is active on Instagram under the handle @manrikakhaira, where she shares glimpses of her life and engages with her fans.
Currently single, she continues to captivate audiences with her bold personality and quick thinking.
With her unapologetic attitude and knack for stirring the pot, Manrika Khaira is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about contestants on the show.
