The stars were out to celebrate Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya’s wedding at their reception.
The pair got married on June 18, 2023, in a lavish ceremony.
For the wedding, Karan opted for a classic look in an ivory sherwani with a pearl necklace and a pagg.
Meanwhile, his bride wore a red lehenga. Her hands were decorated with lehenga and she was seen trying to cover her eyes while Karan laughed next to her.
Sharing pictures of their wedding, Karan Deol wrote:
“You are my today and all of my tomorrows. The beginning of a beautiful journey in our lives.
“We are overwhelmingly thankful for the abundant blessings and well wishes that surround us!”
His father Sunny Deol welcomed Drisha into the family, posting:
“Today I gained a beautiful daughter. Bless you my Bachas God Bless (sic).”
This was echoed by his uncle Bobby Deol, who wrote:
“Blessed to have a daughter in our family now … god bless you both @drishaacharya and @imkarandeol.”
While the wedding was an intimate ceremony, the reception was a star-studded affair.
The bride and groom switched into sophisticated ensembles for the event.
Drisha looked elegant in a golden gown while Karan wore a black tuxedo.
The likes of Prem Chopra, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan were in attendance.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also attended the wedding reception.
Deepika, dressed in a black anarkali suit, exchanged pleasantries with Drisha and also gave her a hug.
Ranveer also greeted the new bride and teased her as they chatted while holding hands. He also greeted Karan with a hug.
They were also joined by Ranveer’s mother Anju Bhavnani and sister Ritika. They all had a small conversation before moving away.
Guests were treated to a performance from Sonu Nigam and in a video, Ranveer and Deepika were seen enjoying and clapping to the songs.
Sunny Deol joined in with the performance, with him and Sonu singing ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahin’ together.

The performance soon saw Ranveer requesting the mic and singing ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’.
Meanwhile, Sunny and Karan Deol rocked the dancefloor.
The newlyweds also enjoyed their first dance while the rest of the Deol family cheered and guests took out their phones to film the special moment.

Poonam Dhillon was part of the reception, attending with her daughter Paloma Thakeria and son Anmol Thakeria.
She wrote: “Good to see my friend and colleague @iamsunnydeol after ages on the joyous occasion of his son’s wedding celebrations.
“Congratulations and loads of happiness to the lovely couple @imkarandeol and @drishaacharya.”
Anupam Kher also shared some photos and wrote:

After learning about his grandson’s wedding, Dharmendra previously said:
“I said, ‘Go ahead if Karan likes her’.
“Then, I met Drisha. The meeting happened at my house. She is a very sensible and pretty girl. And, she comes from an illustrious family.
“I am very happy for Karan and Drisha. They have all my blessings. I welcome the new addition to the Deol family.”
Drisha Acharya is the great-granddaughter of filmmaker Bimal Roy.
She is based in Dubai and works in the travel industry.
It is reported that she and Karan Deol dated for six years before getting married.
