The title track from Dhurandhar featured at a recent NBA game in San Francisco, drawing attention to Indian music on a global stage.

Before the Golden State Warriors’ match against the Milwaukee Bucks, Bhangra Empire performed to the track, energising the arena.

Dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, the group delivered high-energy choreography that drew loud applause from fans.

Bhangra Empire later shared a video of the performance on Instagram, where it quickly gained traction.

The post was captioned: “Starting our Warriors game performance off with a bang!”

The clip captured both the dancers’ energy and the crowd’s enthusiastic response.

Fans praised the song, with one comment reading:

Dhurandhar music is unbeatable. What a song!”

Many viewers highlighted the significance of showcasing Indian culture at a major international sporting event.

Popular tracks include ‘Gehra Hua’, ‘Ishq Jalakar (Karvaan)’ and ‘Shararat‘.

The Bhangra performance at the NBA match added to the growing impact of Dhurandhar, which has enjoyed strong box office success in India and overseas.

The action spy thriller crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark within a month of release.

It has gone on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh as Indian spy Hamza Ali Mazari, who is sent on a dangerous mission to Pakistan to infiltrate a powerful Baloch gang.

Akshaye Khanna portrays Rehman Dakait, the leader of the Baloch gang.

Other stars include Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.

The film’s post-credits scene teased Dhurandhar Part 2: The Revenge, which explores the events that took place at the end of the first part. It is set to release on March 19, 2026.

For Bhangra Empire, this is not the first time they have performed at an NBA match.

The dance group performed a vibrant number at half-time of the match between Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies in March 2017.
