there may be trouble brewing for the couple.
After a series of challenging months, Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin find that things are finally falling into place for them.
In the upcoming episodes of BBC’s EastEnders, the beloved couple makes a significant decision about their relationship.
The suspense lingers: how will it unfold?
For months, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) played a game of push and pull with her lover Eve (Heather Peace).
Suki was initially able to silence her true feelings for the sake of her marriage and family with Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).
But she was soon caught up with them and had no other choice but to face them head-on.
Suki and Eve were able to pursue their relationship as the year 2023 came to an end and they are determined to make their fresh start happen.
In upcoming episodes, the pair make a life-changing decision as Eve begins moving Suki’s belongings into the Slater house.
But while things appear to finally be on the right track, there may be trouble brewing for the couple.
Suki was involved in the Christmas Day murder as Keanu Taylor was stabbed to death by Linda Carter in The Vic with Denise Fox, Stacey Slater, Kathy Beale and Sharon Watts witnessing the scene.
Keanu’s body was then dumped at Kathy’s cafe, which was destroyed by a fire in late 2023.
Builders are set to arrive at the cafe to begin the restoration work, throwing Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Suki, Stacey (Lacey Turner) and Linda (Kellie Bright) into a panic.
As Suki tries to stall them, Linda begins panicking as she struggles with her guilt and her alcohol addiction.
Stacey tries to comfort Linda but reminds her that their futures rely on her staying sober and keeping her composure.
Suki later convinces the builders to temporarily halt their work.
However, she and the others will need to move the body quickly or they will be exposed.
As they discuss their plan, Suki receives a call that could change everything.
As for Nish, he was lured to the Queen Vic on Christmas Day and during a huge confrontation, Denise smashed a champagne bottle over Nish’s head.
He was presumed dead but Suki learnt that Nish was in an induced coma and “can’t talk”. But the doctor said its “not bad news”, adding:
“All we can do is wait, we are hopeful the operation will have eased the pressure in time.
“Your husband is only in an induced coma to help with the swelling on his brain.”
