Travis Scott’s First India Concert leaves Delhi Fans Disappointed

"Trust me, he’s not coming back ever again."

US rapper Travis Scott made his long-awaited India debut on October 18, 2025, with his CIRCUS MAXIMUS concert at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Fans anticipated a thrilling night filled with lights, beats, and his signature high-energy performances.

The event was promoted as officially sold out, promising a packed crowd and an unforgettable experience.

However, videos shared online painted a surprisingly underwhelming picture of the night.

Despite the hype, clips from the concert showed numerous empty seats and visibly unenthusiastic sections of the audience.

Several attendees complained about being made to wait for hours before Scott appeared, with limited access to water and minimal crowd engagement.

One woman’s video of herself dancing alone to ‘Goosebumps’ went viral, as the audience around her stood still.

“The crowd and the concert were both dead,” she wrote, expressing her disappointment with the low-energy atmosphere.

Online reactions echoed similar frustrations.

“Travis bhai ke liye bura lagrha,” commented one person, sympathising with the rapper.

Another user wrote, “Hope Mumbai concert won’t be like this. Why are people just standing there? Someone who actually knows his songs could’ve gone instead.”

Many criticised the organisers for poor planning, unclear communication, and ticketing issues that left fans dissatisfied.

Several attendees said most people did not know Scott’s songs and were only there to make reels or take photos.

“Trust me, he’s not coming back ever again,” wrote one fan, calling the crowd “half empty” and filled with university students “trying to fit in with pop culture.”

Another added that they were forced to wait nearly four hours before the show began.

Videos even showed some fans falling asleep in their seats before the performance started.

However, not every section of the audience appeared dull.

The standing areas, particularly Gold and Silver, were much livelier and full of energy.

Fans in these sections were seen jumping, singing, and creating mosh pits during hits like ‘FE!N’ and ‘Goosebumps’.

One concertgoer noted, “Silver standing was full rage, I don’t know what others were doing.”

The contrast between seated and standing areas became one of the most discussed aspects of the night.

To ensure safety and control the large turnout, around 3,400 staff were deployed for the event, including 1,600 private guards and up to 1,800 Delhi Police officers.

There was even a brief chaotic moment when Travis moved close to the audience, and fans tried to grab him, prompting immediate action from security.

Despite these efforts, attendees and social media users largely blamed the organisers for poor crowd management and disappointing execution.

Travis Scott’s next performance in India is scheduled for November 19, 2025, in Mumbai.

After Delhi’s mixed reception, fans are hoping for a more energetic crowd and a true reflection of the vibrant Indian concert experience.
