“Even a quickie, in our case, costs a lot of calories"
Writer Tahira Kashyap spoke about her sex life with husband Ayushmann Khurrana.
She made an appearance on Shilpa Shetty’s Shape of You to talk about her book The 7 Sins Of Being A Mother.
Shilpa pointed out that Tahira wrote about sex in the book and praised her for her carefree attitude to sex.
Tahira replied by providing details about her private life.
She said: “But it is what it is no! Its sex and it is great and it’s good.”
When Shilpa asked Tahira to rate sex as a workout, she said:
“Even a quickie, in our case, costs a lot of calories, so…”
On the show, Tahira also spoke about going bald during her cancer battle.
Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and used the time to encourage women to get their breasts checked frequently.
She has since made a full recovery.
Speaking about going bald, Tahira revealed that whilst alone at home, she got her head shaved.
She claimed that after looking into the mirror, she said to herself:
“Who’s this sexy thing?”
She told Shilpa: “I found myself so sexy.”
Tahira also spoke about Sonali Bendre, who also had cancer.
Tahira admitted that she was blown away by Sonali’s bald look after the latter returned home following cancer treatment in the United States.
But she added that she did not think that she would be in the same position just six months later.
Tahira explained that she loved Sonali’s bald look as she left the airport.
Speaking to Shilpa, Tahira said: “Wow, what a woman.
“Cut to six months later, I didn’t know I would be in the same position.”
Tahira Kashyap has been married to Ayushmann Khurrana since 2008. They have two children: 10-year-old son Virajveer and 8-year-old daughter Varushka.
Ayushmann is known for his portrayals of ordinary men often battling social norms and he has three films in the works.
He will star opposite Rakul Preet Singh in Doctor G and it is expected to release in June 2022.
He will also play a soldier in the action thriller Anek.
Ayushmann’s third upcoming film is titled An Action Hero.
He last starred in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, which saw him play a bodybuilder who has a relationship with a transgender woman.
