Another leading performer has reportedly been cast.
Shakib Khan is gearing up for his Eid 2026 release, Prince, with fresh cast additions promising an exciting cinematic experience.
Nasir Uddin Khan, widely recognised for his breakthrough performance in the web series Myself Allen Swapan, has joined the film in a pivotal role.
This marks the first time Nasir Uddin will act alongside Shakib, although the duo previously appeared together in a television commercial.
The announcement was confirmed by producer Shirin Sultana, who highlighted the actor’s versatility and the energy he brings to the project.
Directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud under the Creative Land Films banner, Prince is being designed as a full-fledged action spectacle.
Mahmud stated that the production involves extensive planning and meticulous preparation to ensure the shoot unfolds exactly as envisioned.
Principal photography is scheduled to commence on December 15, 2025, with the film’s first look and poster unveiled on the same day.
Alongside Shakib Khan and Nasir Uddin, the film stars Tasnia Farin and Kolkata actress Jyotirmoyee Kundu in key roles.
Another leading performer has reportedly been cast as well, though the production team has kept the name confidential for now.
Amit Roy, a cinematographer noted for his work in Bollywood, will be handling the visuals.
Earlier rumours suggested Prince would be a biopic of 1990s Dhaka underworld figure Kala Jahangir.
However, Mahmud has now dismissed those claims entirely.
He emphasised that the story is wholly fictional and not based on any real-life individual, calling the reports mere gossip.
The production team has indicated that promotional material will begin releasing as filming starts.
With a mix of established stars and emerging talent, Prince is generating significant anticipation among audiences.
The film is expected to leverage high-octane action sequences and dramatic storytelling.
Producers are confident that Prince will perform well with its combination of Shakib’s star power and the dynamic new supporting cast.
In other news, Shakib Khan’s Antaratma is now slated for an OTT release on iScreen.
The film, released on Eid 2024, faced challenges at the box office due to its limited promotion.
The fresh run on digital platforms aims to give audiences a second chance to experience the film and reach a wider viewership.
As filming for Prince progresses, fans eagerly await further updates, curious to see Shakib Khan and Nasir Uddin Khan together on the big screen.
