Shaan has been appointed as the presenter for the seventh season of the popular radio show Crazy For Kishore.
The show is dedicated to the iconic actor and playback singer Kishore Kumar.
Revered widely across the world, Kumar began his career as a singer in 1948 but attained dizzying heights of fame with the release of Aradhana (1969), in which he sang some of the most evergreen songs for Rajesh Khanna.
Powered by Fever Network, Crazy for Kishore aims to showcase Kumar’s most-loved songs and will also reveal interesting anecdotes from the classic singer’s life and career.
Shaan is known for his mellifluous voice with his great work existent in songs such as ‘Inn Panchiyon’, ‘Chaand Sifarish‘ and ‘Kuch Toh Hua Hai’.
Shaan delved into his excitement in adding a new brand to Crazy for Kishore.
He said: “Crazy for Kishore is that one show on radio that has always been my favourite.
“I have always secretly hoped and wished I could be a part of this show.
“So when the season offer came my way, I grabbed it with both hands.
“Rohini and her team at Radio Nasha are superbly experienced and dedicated with this property and also extremely encouraging.
“This gave me a lot of confidence and really helped me in quickly donning the RJ hat.
“And of course when it comes to talking about the one and only Kishore Kumar, I can go on and on about his voice, his personality, his personal stories, his influence on today’s music and singers.
“All in all, I am super excited to be the brand new host on Crazy For Kishore, Shaan Se.”

Crazy for Kishore has also been a television reality show which was about finding a singer similar to Kishore Kumar.
Judges included Sudesh Bhosle, Bappi Lahiri and Kumar’s elder son Amit Kumar.
Kishore Kumar sang evergreen chartbusters for many actors including Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor.
He won eight Filmfare awards ‘Best Male Playback Singer’ – a record that is currently yet to be beaten by any other artist.
Listeners can tune in to the show on Fever FM Station from Monday to Friday from 4–5 pm (IST), and on Radio Nasha from Monday to Friday from 11–12 am and 10-11 pm respectively.
With a hugely talented and loved singer like Shaan paying tribute to Kishore Kumar, the show promises to be highly melodious and engaging content.
