"Lambi kahani choti ungli, stay safe stay home.”
Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra was rushed to hospital where she had to undergo emergency surgery to reconstruct her finger.
The actress injured her little finger while at her residence on May 14, 2020, due to a freak accident.
Sanya, who was at home alone during the lockdown, got her finger caught while attempting to make chutney.
Reportedly, the actress was making chutney in a blender. However, when she switched on the blender the lid flew off.
As a result of her attempt to put the lid back on, she accidentally trapped her finger. A close source said:
“Sanya was all alone at home and had started feeling drowsy due to loss of blood.
“She called a friend over to keep her from fainting while another rushed her to a suburban hospital, where after testing negative for Covid-19, she was admitted.”
Sanya Malhotra was left with two fractures, two-three major cuts and one dislocation on her finger due to the accident.
The report further added that she was admitted to undergo surgery immediately.
Taking to Instagram, Sanya Malhotra shared a picture of herself showing her bandaged finger. She captioned it:
“Kuch behat crazy 9 dino ke baad I’m back with a new reconstructed little finger lambi kahani choti ungli, stay safe stay home.”

It was also revealed that Sanya asked her former roommate Harshita Kalra to move into her home to help her while she recovers.
Sanya Malhotra’s unfortunate injury occurred while she was recovering from an injured back and neck.
The report went on to mention that the actress will be flying back to Delhi to be with her parents.
“It is getting a little difficult for her to handle everything alone here in Mumbai.”
“While she is aware that she is better off compared to the grave sufferings of others through tough times, she has to give her finger time to heal fully.
“Besides, she would be better taken care of at home in Delhi.”
We wish Sanya Malhotra a speedy recovery and hope her finger heals well.
