Salman Khan has reacted to the repeated death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The Bollywood megastar addressed the threats during a promotional event for his upcoming film Sikandar.

He said: “It’s all up to God, Allah. What is written is written. That’s all.”

Salman acknowledged the challenges created by the heightened security cover provided to him after the threats and the shooting near his apartment.

He added: “Sometimes, having to move around with so many people becomes a problem.

“Galaxy, shoot, shoot Galaxy. No detours.”

Salman Khan has faced several attempts on his life.

In April 2024, two men on a motorcycle fired several shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where the actor lives.

The investigation later revealed that the shooting was aimed to intimidate the actor and was carried out on the instructions of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

The gangster, who is in prison in Gujarat, is enraged with Salman Khan over the 1998 blackbuck shooting case, in which he was accused.

The Bishnoi community holds blackbucks sacred.

After the death of politician Baba Siddique in October 2024, the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility and issued a warning to Salman.

A post read: “Om, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat I understand the value of life, consider wealth and the body as dust.

“I did only what was right, honoured the duty of friendship.

“Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life.

“Today those praising Baba Siddique or was with Dawood under the MCOCA Act.

“The reason for his death was his linking of Dawood and Anuj Thapan to Bollywood, politics, and property dealings.

“We have no enmity with anyone. However, anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared.

“If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will definitely respond. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs.”

Talking about filming Sikandar, Salman revealed filming had to take place with a heavy security presence.

Salman said that even though it was a tough shoot in terms of planning so many outdoor locations, it all went well.

Director AR Murugadoss said:

“Yes. We shot at railway stations, from night till day. We had to take care of security issues.”

“In real locations, there were around 200 people on the buildings, watching.”

Salman Khan added: “There was a lot of security involved because of real locations, and we were shooting outdoors.

“So we had to be very careful. But by the grace of God, all went well.”

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Sikandar, which hits theatres worldwide on March 30, 2025.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal.
