This year the legendary iftar of Baba Siddique was another star studded event. Salman Khan attended, along with his whole family, and was seen chatting to Kick co-star, Jacqueline Fernandez.

Salman Khan was spotted chatting happily to Jaqueline Fernandez.

Politician Baba Siddique’s Iftar party is always a star-studded event, and makes the news every year for its celebrity appearances.

At this iftar two years ago, in 2013, there was a historic moment when Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan hugged, putting their difference behind them. They then hugged a second time at the 2014 party.

This year’s Iftar was held on 5th July 2015 at the Taj Land’s End Hotel in Mumbai.

Salman Khan was present as usual, and also brought all of his family, and he met up at the party with Jacqueline Fernandez, his co-star from Kick.

Rumours suggest that Salman had an unfathomable amount of security at the event – reportedly 120 bodyguards in total!

Khan and Fernandez were seen speaking to each other whilst Fernandez sat at Khan’s table.

This is surprising to some, as it is reported that Fernandez dropped out of filming a sequel to Kick, and many thought the two stars might not be getting along so well.

Yet, it seems the two are still friendly, as they chatted to each other throughout the Iftar. Fernandez chose a gold coloured lehenga and looked stunning, whilst Khan wore a shirt and jeans outfit.

Also attending were Aditya and Zarina Pancholi, who walked into the hotel together. This marks the first time they have appeared together for years.

Kabir Khan was also present, bringing his beautiful wife Mini Mathur, and Zareen Khan who struggled to find a chair in the crowd at first.

The biggest news of the 2015 iftar however, was that SRK was not present, as he is shooting for his next film, Dilwale in Bulgaria.

The 2013 and 2014 iftar’s provided fans with a glimpse into these two stars’ relationship, and showed reunions between them, but there was no historic hug this year.

Both SRK and Salman have since been vocal about their admiration for each other, and SRK even supported Salman during his hit-and-run court case, and even promoted his Bajrangi Bhaijaan film.

Despite this, the evening was a stunning celebrity event and was attended by many politicians and Bollywood show stoppers.

One source claims:

“Post dinner, Salman and his family members left in separate cars, while his father, Salim Khan, was the last person to leave the venue.”

Fans will now have to wait and see whether both Salman and Shahrukh attend the 2016 iftar, especially as both their Eid 2016 releases, Raees and Sultan will be going head to head at the Box Office. The suspense will soon build for their next public reunion.
