“World’s Greatest Paani Ki Tanki Ad.”
Bollywood power couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are going viral online after featuring in an advertisement together. However, the reason behind it going viral is for a rather strange.
The advertisement featuring the couple is for a company that manufactures plastic pipes and water storage tanks.
In the thirty-second ad, Kareena and Saif are dressed in formal attire and enjoying a hearty meal.
Saif says: “Kareena, it’s been a while since we worked together” to which Kareena replies, “Romance at home, romance at work.”
“I know, will it be too much?” questions Saif. He further adds: “I have an idea, let’s do an ad together.”
Kareena goes on to ask, “Which one?” to which Saif replies, “Vectus! It’s a very good brand.”
“So much faith?” asks Kareena. Saif ends the advertisement by stating, “As much as I trust you!”

The ad which was shared on social media on Friday, 17 July 2020 and has amused many of Kareena and Saif’s fans.
Since then, many people have been sharing the advertisement on Twitter. One user called it the “World’s Greatest Paani Ki Tanki Ad.”
Many users commented on the ad. Questioning the dubbing, Shreemi Verma asked:
“Hahahahaah what’s that dubbing! Why they are talking like robots who are being paid to impersonate humans?”
Jackie J. Thakkar mocked Saif’s closing dialogue saying:
“Ahahahahaha ‘tumpe jitna, utna ..’ Imagine the writer’s room when iska narration chal raha hoga.”

Another user pointed out the cake in the scene. Vivek Seal said:
“Both of them eating 1.5 kg cake while discussing tanki, unbelievable. The creative guys must be from parallel universe.”
Simmy on Twitter mocked Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor for being star children. He said:
“Promoting a brand without even posing with it. Only nepo kids have the privilege & ability to do it … posing with a water tank maybe too unclassy & cheesy for them.”

The managing directors of the brand shared their excitement of having Saif and Kareena as their brand ambassadors saying:
“We are delighted to have the most popular Bollywood star couple Saif and Kareena on board as our brand ambassadors.”
The popular Bollywood star couple has worked in a couple of films together like Kurbaan (2009), Agent Vinod (2012) and Tashan (2008) to name a few.
They were announced as the brand ambassadors for Vectus on 8 July 2020.
