"Knowing that the negativity comes from there"

Saif Ali Khan had some words for those who trolled his son, Taimur Ali Khan, for his pottery pictures.

The actor has been in Dharamshala for the shoot of his upcoming film, Bhoot Police. He was joined by his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur.

Saif said it was a happy experience to return to his family every day after working hard on the set.

Kareena had shared some pictures of herself and Taimur on Instagram as they took part in some pottery classes. While many praised the actress for making the toddler get involved in a creative activity, others trolled the pair.

Saif has now reacted to the comments and shrugged them off as he is not on social media. He said the comments do not bother him as he has been able to appreciate different places and activities thanks to his job.

The actor did have some words for the haters. He said:

“I’m lucky I have an amazing job that brings me to places like these.

“Not everyone is as lucky, and it can get frustrating being penned in a small apartment in the big city. Knowing that the negativity comes from there, I can be forgiving.”

Saif went on to say that it was fulfilling having his family by his side at the end of filming as it can get lonely for actors who return to their empty hotel rooms after working all day.

He compared the experience to that of his character, Sartaj Singh, from Sacred Games.

“Reminds me of Sartaj Singh from Sacred Games who would leave the lights on so he didn’t have to come back to a dark home.

“I find myself offering a prayer of thanks to God for this gift of love.

“The warmth of a family is something I’ll always be grateful for. Someone up there sure loves me.”

On his upcoming film Bhoot Police, Saif said:

Bhoot Police is funny and spooky, the kind of film I’ve always wanted to do in its story, characters and locations.

“Usually, I have to sacrifice family time when I’m working, but this time I could be with my Kareena and Tim every evening after pack-up.”

Saif revealed that he wants his other son, Ibrahim, to “just explode on the screen like Hrithik Roshan” and be ready for comparisons to him.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, Aadipurush and a series called Tandav.
