This is by far the highest ever amount offered
It has been heavily speculated that Rhea Chakraborty will be entering Bigg Boss 15 for a record fee.
Rumours that the Bollywood actress will be a part of the popular reality show have been rife for several months.
But they have come to fruition once again after Rhea was spotted visiting the same studio as Indian TV actress Tejasswi Prakash.
Tejasswi has already been announced as one of the contestants on Bigg Boss 15.
Former Bigg Boss contestant Dalljiet Kaur was also seen at the studio on the same day.
The speculation heightened after Rhea went out to a salon for some pampering.
Typically, Bigg Boss contestants tend to visit a salon before entering Bigg Boss because they will not have access to such things for potentially months.
While the rumours are prominent, it is not known if Rhea will enter the house as a contestant or if she will make a special appearance at the premiere.
But according to TellyChakkar, she will be paid a record fee.
It is speculated that Rhea Chakraborty has been offered Rs. 35 Lakh (£35,000) per week to enter the reality show as a contestant.
This is by far the highest ever amount offered to a celebrity on the popular TV show.
In the past, there have only been a few contestants who attracted a lot of attention because of their Bigg Boss fee.
One of them was Rimi Sen, who revealed that she was paid Rs. 2.25 Crore (£224,000) for spending 50 days in the house.
It had previously been speculated that Rhea would enter Bigg Boss 15 along with Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.
However, Ankita had denied the reports in a social media post.
Rhea Chakraborty has been in the limelight over the past year due to the media trial she was subjected to following the death of Sushant.
Due to the buzz around her, the actress has been on the radar of the Bigg Boss makers.
Bigg Boss 15 could be a positive change for her as she has not worked for a long time.
Bigg Boss 15 is set to premiere on October 2, 2021, with Salman Khan returning to hosting duties.
The upcoming series has the theme of Jungle Mein Dangal.
It will see the contestants staying in a jungle and competing for basic amenities before they enter the Bigg Boss house.
According to reports, the housemates will be divided into three teams led by three ex-Bigg Boss contestants.
While it has not been confirmed whether Rhea Chakraborty will enter the house or not, some of the confirmed contestants are Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, Nishant Bhat, Donal Bisht and Umar Riaz.
