"He is about to pay a terrible price."
Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) is undergoing what no person should have to endure in the BBC’s EastEnders.
The mechanic has found himself at the mercy of Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), who forced him into his drug operation.
Things took an even darker turn as Ravi and Tobias ‘Okie’ Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) began to use a flat for their illegal activities.
That flat belonged to Harry’s friend, Kojo Asare (Dayo Kolesho), who is unaware of Ravi’s dealings and regards Okie as a friend.
Harry is desperate not only to escape Ravi’s clutches but also to free Kojo from Okie’s grasp.
To Harry’s horror, Ravi and Okie have also been using Kojo as a pawn in their drug ring.
The character has also been trying to fend off suspicions from Kojo’s brother, George Knight (Colin Salmon), while also attempting to keep his relationship with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) afloat.
Recent episodes of EastEnders saw Harry turn to his parents – Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) – for help.
While Nicola managed to threaten Ravi into letting Harry go, the latter still wanted to save Kojo, who had already had nasty run-ins with drugs impacting his freedom and health.
Teddy tried to hide a camera in Kojo’s flat to use as leverage against Ravi and Okie.
In the episode released early on BBC iPlayer on October 8, 2025, Teddy informed Harry about the camera.
However, Kojo found it and gave it to Okie.
Harry watched in despair as Okie whisked Kojo away and returned to the flat to find Ravi glaring at the camera.
Ravi told Harry: “Someone’s been keeping an eye on us.”
Ravi dismissed thoughts that the one who planted the camera was George or Nicola, and then started to cast doubts on Teddy.
He asked Harry: “Have you made him aware of who he’s dealing with?
“Or am I going to have to show him what I’m capable of to make him understand?”
Harry then told Ravi that he was the one who installed the camera.
Ravi stood up and said: “Of course. Well, we all make mistakes.”
But Harry’s troubles are far from over.
Upcoming episodes of EastEnders will see Okie and Ravi kidnap Harry, holding him hostage.
A show insider said: “Harry wishes he’d never got involved with this drug-dealing gang.
“He’s been desperate to protect his mate Kojo from getting in too deep, although now it’s Harry himself who’s in danger.
“He is about to pay a terrible price for double-crossing Okie and Ravi.”
Harry will go missing, and when nobody hears from him, Teddy grows concerned.
Finally, Teddy will manage to contact his son, who assures him he is well, but nothing could be further from the truth.
The insider continued: “Harry is being held captive by Ravi and Okie.
“They’re furious after finding a recording device hidden in Kojo’s flat, so force him to make the call while they pressure him into revealing where the hidden camera connects to.
“Fearing for his life, Harry admits it’s linked to his laptop. Will the villains let him go now?”
When Ravi takes his daughter, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), on a holiday, he leaves Okie in charge and orders him to release Harry.
However, Okie enjoys having the upper hand and warns Harry that he is going to target his girlfriend, Gina.
While Harry loses hope, Okie begins flirting with Gina, who is disappointed that Harry has supposedly stood her up.
The insider concluded: “Okie has no intention of releasing Harry just yet.
“Instead, he’s going to keep him locked up while Okie seduces lonely Gina – and Harry can’t do anything about it.
“Harry is so devastated he spirals into despair, taking drugs to numb his emotional distress.”
Will Harry and Kojo ever be able to get away from Ravi and Okie, and will Gina betray Harry with Okie?
EastEnders continues on Thursday, October 9, 2025, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
