Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s much-anticipated Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar trailer was launched by the cast on January 23, 2023, in Mumbai.

Helmed by Luv Ranjan, the romantic comedy promises sizzling chemistry between the lead pair and is a colourful new spin on the genre.

The trailer showcases the different looks of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

And now, one of Ranbir’s pictures has been doing the rounds on social media.

In the picture, Ranbir is seen wearing yellow shorts paired with black sunglasses.

He is seen showing off his chiselled abs and toned body.

As the picture was shared on Twitter, fans flooded the comments section.

One user said: “Mr Charmer and Hotter.”

Another fan wrote: “I’M DEAD OKAY BYE.”

Another Twitter user has commented: “Vfx wala abs.”

Many other users have retweeted the picture too.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar revolves around the characters of Ranbir and Shraddha, who easily fall in love but struggle to break up.

They deal with a lot of wild situations testing their patience.

The three-and-a-half minute-long trailer introduces the lead as they each describe the new-age relationship.

They say: “Ajkal relationships mein ghusna asaan he, usme se nikalna mushkil.

“Rishta jorna asaan he, todna mushkil (Nowadays it is easier to get into relationships but harder to get out of it. Making a relation is easy, but to break it is hard).”

Ranbir tries to woo Shraddha, and they get into a casual relationship.

And as things get serious, their families are also involved.

Both get engaged even as they try their best to act as if they are not the ones to initiate the breakup.

Meanwhile, during an interview at the Red Sea International Film Festival, Ranbir spoke about his upcoming projects and revealed that Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will be his last romantic comedy.

Talking about his role in the film, the actor said: “I don’t know it is probably going to be one of the last romantic comedies I do because I am getting older.”

The audience cheered him on at this response and said that is not true since he is just getting younger.

Ranbir, aged 40 years, has worked in several romantic comedies throughout his career.

The last of these was Jagga Jasoos in 2017.

The film is all set to have a festive release in theatres on March 8 this year.
