'For The Culture' serves as the album’s central statement
UK Punjabi artist Raj Hayre has released the official music video for ‘For The Culture’, the title track from his debut album.
The release brings a visual element to Hayre’s latest project, which explores Punjabi culture, identity and contemporary South Asian music.
‘For The Culture’ features the late Dippa Dosanjh, with production from DesiFrenzy and Shxxn.
The track combines Punjabi folk vocals with contemporary production, while its title reflects the cultural focus running throughout Hayre’s debut album.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nirwair Sandhu, with Ritu Matharoo appearing as the female lead.
The music video follows the release of the track as part of Hayre’s wider 2026 music campaign.
Hayre released his debut album For The Culture in August 2026.
The 14-track project features collaborations with several names from the Punjabi music scene, including Dippa Dosanjh, Mani Longia and Miss Pooja.
The album includes tracks such as ‘The Way She Moves’, ‘Me & You’, ‘This Is Panjab’, ‘Munde Pind De’ and ‘Virsa Rave’.
The project was released through EMPYR MUSIC.

The EP featured songs including ‘Girl Next Door’, ‘Dangerous Love’ and ‘Sin City’.
Raj Hayre also collaborated with Sukhpreet Kaur, DesiFrenzy and Shxxn on ‘Jhumke’, which was released in May.
The track became another addition to Hayre’s growing catalogue of Punjabi releases this year.
The ‘For The Culture’ title track has also appeared on the Official British Asian Music Chart.
According to the Official Charts website, the song entered the chart at number 20.
The new music video gives audiences another way to experience the album’s title track and its focus on Punjabi culture.
With ‘For The Culture’, Hayre continues to develop his position within the UK Punjabi music scene.
