Punjabi singer Harman Sidhu has died after his car collided with a canter truck in Punjab’s Mansa district, police said on November 22. He was 36.

The accident occurred on November 21 as Sidhu was returning to his village, Khiala Kalan, from Mansa, authorities confirmed.

During the journey, his vehicle collided with the truck. According to police, he was killed instantly.

Sidhu’s body was taken to Mansa Civil Hospital for a post-mortem and his family has been immediately informed.

Police are currently working to find out how Sidhu’s vehicle collided with the truck.

Meanwhile, a police official said the truck driver has been detained and a case has been registered in connection with the crash.

Harman Sidhu rose to fame with his track ‘Paper Ya Pyar’ alongside Miss Pooja.

It became a big hit and made Sidhu popular among younger listeners in Punjab.

Sidhu went on to release several tracks, which received love from listeners. This included ‘Bebe Bapu’, ‘Koi Chakkar Nai’, ‘Babbar Sher’, and ‘Multan VS Russia’.

The singer is survived by his wife and daughter.

Following his death, Sidhu’s final Instagram post garnered significant attention.

Dated September 21, a Reel showed him getting on one knee and handing a flower to his daughter.

He had also posted a video of her dancing cutely on what appeared to be a terrace. Fans flooded the post with emotional tributes, many writing “Rest in peace” accompanied by red heart emojis.

One person wrote: “Rip sir.”

Other messages included “Gone too soon”, “Your voice will live forever” and “We grew up listening to you”.

Harman Sidhu’s death marks another tragic loss for the Punjabi entertainment industry.

In September 2025, singer-actor Rajvir Jawanda was travelling on a motorcycle in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district when he reportedly swerved to avoid cattle that had wandered onto the road.

Police said the crash occurred in the Baddi area as he lost control of the vehicle while on his way to Shimla.

The 35-year-old had been on life support for 11 days before doctors confirmed he had died.
