“No one follows traffic rules here.”
Ayesha Omar, a prominent Pakistani actress known for her elegance and confidence, has graced screens in several beloved dramas and films.
Currently, Ayesha is recovering from a collarbone surgery and appreciates the prayers and well-wishes from her fans.
In a recent Green Entertainment Ramadan transmission, Ayesha shared insights about her accident and offered valuable tips on mental health.
Recounting the incident, she revealed: “It was during the shoot of ‘Bulbulay.’
“I had to attend a one-day shoot for the brand Kapray. I was in Azfar Rehman’s in the car.
“His driver was going at a very high speed. I asked him to slow down but he said that this is how he drives every day without any trouble.”
She continued: “Then I just sat back and didn’t say anything. A big mistake that I had made was that of not wearing a seatbelt.”
“Now even if a car is going at 15kmph, I still always wear a seatbelt no matter what.”
She said that there was a pothole that a truck in front of them tried to avoid.
The truck switched lanes without an indicator and then they crashed. She revealed that the impact of the hit was so severe that her collarbone was fractured.
“No one follows traffic rules here.”
Stressing the importance of safety, she urged everyone to always wear seat belts, regardless of the speed or seating position in the vehicle.
Ayesha Omar also delved into the profound impact of thought processes on one’s life:
“Our thoughts significantly influence our emotions and overall well-being.
“Dwelling on negative thoughts, like the accident, and stressing about treatment and safety, triggers panic and releases cortisol, a stress hormone, in the body.”
She emphasised that unnecessary stress could have detrimental effects on both mental and physical health.
She highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive mindset to foster better mental and physical well-being.
Fans were supportive of Ayesha.
