"Their car collided with a truck."
Popular Telugu actor and digital content creator K Bharat Kanth has tragically died in a high-speed road accident.
He was killed alongside his close friend and cinematographer G Sai Trilok on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road.
The two men were both 31 years old at the time of the fatal crash near Adibatla.
Local police reported that the incident occurred in the early hours as they travelled towards the city of Hyderabad.
K Bharat Kanth was reportedly driving the vehicle when he lost control near the Exit 12 junction.
The car collided with the rear of a stationary or slow-moving container lorry positioned ahead on the road.
The impact from the collision was so severe that both passengers passed away at the scene of the tragedy.
Authorities currently suspect that overspeeding or driver fatigue may have contributed to this devastating loss of life.
The Adibatla police have registered a formal case as they continue their investigation into the matter.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a nearby facility for a post-mortem examination.
One official provided details regarding the immediate actions taken by the emergency services during the night.
