Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Anomaly’ has emerged as the second wealthiest celebrity brand in 2023, according to the latest Cosmetify report.
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty took the topmost spot on Cosmetify’s list of the wealthiest celebrity beauty brands of 2023 with 477.2 million pounds.
It was followed by Priyanka Chopra’s hair care brand, which ranked second on the list, with 429.9 million pounds.
Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic brand ranked third on the list with 301.4 million pounds in revenue, followed by Ariana Grande’s beauty brand, with 70.3 million pounds.
Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty earned the fifth spot on the list with 50.2 million pounds in revenue.
Speaking about the wealthiest celebrity beauty brand of 2023, Fenty Beauty, the report said:
“After already being featured in the top three most successful overall beauty brands, it may come as no surprise that Fenty Beauty takes the top spot as the current wealthiest celebrity beauty brand.
“Earlier this year, Rihanna hit the headlines as she demonstrated the effectiveness of her Fenty Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder during her iconic performance at the SuperBowl LVII.
“This small three-second brand cameo is estimated to have increased the media brand value of Fenty by a whopping $5 million!”
Priyanka Chopra launched her hair care brand in 2022.
She introduced the brand to her fans by posting a picture of her on the front cover of Beauty Inc magazine.
She captioned it: “This is ANOMALY. What a surreal moment to introduce you to the first brand I have ever created!!!
“For the last 18 months, I have worked alongside my partners at Maesa toward the day when we could share our labour of love with the world, and I can’t believe that time has finally arrived.”
Priyanka Chopra in an interview, said: “I’ve just recently taken to the business side of both, the beauty and the entertainment industry.
“That really made me bifurcate the difference between sitting in the stylist’s chair and using a bunch of products, to actually having a say in the products going into my hair.”
In the interview, she also recalled her hair care journey that began in childhood.
She said: “As a baby, I had no hair, imagine! My grandma was afraid I’d be bald forever so she’d make me sit between her legs and give me a good, old champi. I guess it worked.”
On the work front, Priyanka recently starred in The Matrix: Resurrections.
She will next be seen in the Amazon Prime Video series Citadel, alongside Richard Madden of Game of Thrones fame.
The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28.
