Never one to evade eye-catching fashion, Priyanka Chopra Jonas treated her fans to a unique dress code in some recent pictures.
The actress and singer beamed with happiness and glee as she dressed herself in snakes.
In a series of Instagram posts, the serpents coiled around Priyanka, as she described her appearance as “ssssssubtle”.
The star also voiced Kaa in the Hindi-dubbed version of The Jungle Book (2016) – an aspect to which she likened her posts.
In addition to sharing recent pictures with her husband, Nick Jonas, that featured snakes, Priyanka also curated some previous pictures similar to them in her Instagram carousel.
In one of the pictures, Priyanka Chopra Jonas burst out laughing as a massive constrictor coiled around her upper body.
She looked gorgeous in a white top and blue jeans as she gracefully held the snake.
In another post, Priyanka posed next to Nick. In this picture, the snake’s head was more visible.
While Priyanka looked remarkably unperturbed, Nick raised his hand in the air in caution.
This seemed to lift Priyanka’s spirits even higher as she looked at her husband with a laugh escaping her lips.
Nick also filmed Priyanka briefly, when he said: “Loving the jewellery, babe. It’s nice.”
Priyanka replied: “Thanks. It’s a new Serpenti.”
Priyanka showed her fondness for snakes as she also compiled posts from a previous time.
In one such image, the star was seen with a snake around her neck.
Priyanka went for a casual look in this picture, in a jumper and jeans.
The colour of the snake appeared to compliment her look majestically.
Another picture showed Priyanka adorned in snake jewellery. This marked her penchant for stunning accessories as well as her love for snakes.
The star was decorated in fine bracelets and a necklace.
The Instagram posts attracted comments from fans, praising Priyanka’s daring fashion and a unique outlook on a somewhat vilified creature.
One user said: “Superb correlation. Your fascination for huge snakes and Bulgari Serpenitini!”
Another added: “Your voiceover as Kaa remains my favourite.
“It was so hypnotising, hallucinating, sultry and serpentine.”
A third person enthused: “Well, I’ll say you wear it well, as you do with all your pieces!”
Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her acting debut with the Tamil film, Thamizhan (2002).
In 2003, she made her Bollywood debut with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.
She went on to establish herself as one of the industry’s leading actresses.
The star will next be seen in The Bluff, directed by Frank E Flowers.
