The cast delivered their best.

The cast and creators of the upcoming film Neelofar gathered at Frere Hall to share insights about their long-awaited project.

They spoke about the significance of the film for Pakistani cinema and explained why the team remained committed for many years.

Fawad Khan said the project took five years of constant work and revealed he produced the film because the script immediately connected with him.

He explained that taking on production for the first time felt like an important risk worth embracing for the story.

Mahira Khan joined the project after reading the script, but admitted she ultimately agreed because Fawad personally asked her.

She said there are moments when actors want to contribute to a narrative they believe deserves to be heard.

Their long history of projects increased anticipation for their reunion and expectations for audiences.

Behroze Sabzwari also joined because Fawad approached him and said the project deserved time and honest dedication from everyone involved.

He expressed concern that cinema outings had become difficult for the wider public and were mostly limited to a small elite audience.

Atiqa Odho appreciated that the familiar Humsafar family returned for another major project and felt encouraged to witness their continued teamwork.

She reflected on her years in the industry and discussed how artists from earlier generations struggled due to declining public and institutional support.

Odho revealed she will attend the Red Sea Film Festival and plans to advocate for investment in Pakistani filmmaking.

Sarwat Gilani said the production moved at a thoughtful and patient pace because the team refused to compromise on emotional detail.

She urged investors to trust Pakistani talent and promised that filmmakers would not disappoint if given meaningful opportunities.

Madiha Imam described her experience on set as extremely supportive and said the cast delivered their best because they were treated kindly.

Sabzwari agreed that every performer pushed harder due to the atmosphere created by the team and their respect for audiences.

Fawad praised director Ammar Rasool for his sensitive understanding of storytelling and credited him for shaping the film’s musical direction.

He said Rasool carefully selected the musicians and showed deep involvement while crafting the soundtrack for the film.

The cast expressed their affection for the song ‘Ja Rahe’, which appears to have become a team favourite during production.

They believe the music will play an essential role in carrying the emotional weight of the narrative for viewers.

Neelofar is scheduled for release in cinemas on November 28, 2025, and expectations continue to rise as promotional activities increase.
