"I live for it. I'm always involved in everyone's business."
The Love Island 2026 cast has been announced ahead of the show’s return on June 1.
The series will feature a football theme, coinciding with the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, which will be on screens at the same time.
Maya Jama returns as presenter, welcoming 12 new singletons to the villa as they hope to find The One, and not just a holiday romance.
The line-up includes a DJ and a detective.
The 2026 cast also features South Asian representation as Jasmine and Samraj take part in the popular dating show.
Let’s find out more about them.
Jasmine

Originally from Dubai but now lives in London, Jasmine is of Danish, American, Indian and Iranian heritage.
The 27-year-old is a fashion business owner, having co-founded Mahlia Intimates.
She also has a large social media presence, with over 90,000 Instagram followers.
Jasmine describes her ideal man as “objectively hot, really charismatic, and confident”.
But when it comes to what kind of person turns her off, she reveals:
“An insecure man.
“Honestly, how would he deal with me? That’s the real question.”
“I don’t think insecure men could handle me. I pick up on insecurity straight away, and it just wouldn’t end well. By the end of it, he’d probably hate me.”
But while she is looking for romance, Jasmine “loves drama too”.
She adds: “I live for it. I’m always involved in everyone’s business.
“I’m basically the auntie of the group. Everyone literally calls me ‘Jasmine Auntie’. So bring me love, bring me drama, bring all of it.”
Samraj

Samraj is a model from Birmingham.
The 25-year-old says he doesn’t have a specific type:
“I don’t have a type, if you’re pretty.
“If you look at my history of dating, all girls have been different! I like the way a woman carries herself, her mannerisms. I like that.”
He is open-minded about what he wants from the Love Island experience, though he admits he enjoys a bit of chaos.
Samraj says: “Best case scenario, I’m walking out with someone I really connect with. My first girlfriend.
“But I don’t mind a bit of drama, it’s fun! As long as no one is getting hurt.”
Confident about his dating life outside Love Island, he adds: “Without sounding arrogant, in the outside world I don’t really chase that much, I’m used to girls coming to me.
“I know in the Villa it’s a different dynamic.
“In the beginning, I’m not going to be pushing myself out there, I’m just gonna watch and see who I like and then go from there.”
The upcoming series of Love Island promises spicy moments, both in terms of romance and drama, when it airs on June 1 on ITV2 and ITVX.
