Naughty Boy appears to have suggested that he carried I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The music producer, whose real name is Shahid Khan, quickly became a divisive character in the 21st series of the popular reality show.

He became the fifth contestant to leave the castle on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

The four before him were presenter Richard Madeley, choreographer Dame Arlene Phillips, paralympic cyclist and athlete Kadeena Cox, DJ Snoochie Shy.

The 41-year-old had an eventful 16 day run at the camp, taking part in a whopping seven trials and bringing 52 stars back with him.

Naughty Boy tweeted on the night of his exit:

“Thank you to everyone that voted. What a ride.”

After this initial statement, he seemed to have gone on a Twitter spree the next day, liking and retweeting many of those supporting him.

The music producer also shared a meme from a fan showing him carrying a Christmas tree, saying it was symbolic to him carrying the show.

Some people said that they wouldn’t be watching the programme again now that he had left.

One user wrote: “I will stop watching this I’m A Celeb show now after the legend Naughty Boy is gone.”

Another added: “My interest in watching I’m A Celeb now that the most entertaining person Naughty Boy isn’t there anymore.”

Another asked:

“How did Naughty Boy get kicked out when I literally thought he was gonna win right from the start?”

“Program’s not gonna be as entertaining now.”

The DJ had previously shocked viewers by threatening to quit just two days after the ITV show had begun.

The episode which aired on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, saw him tell his campmates that his time in the competition had come to an end.

However, Naughty Boy was encouraged to sleep on the decision by journalist and morning television presenter, Richard Madeley.

The revelation also prompted Dame Arlene Phillips to consider whether she should leave.

However, hosts Ant and Dec later confirmed that both contestants had remained at the camp.

The following episodes saw Naughty Boy take on trials as well as get into arguments with many of his fellow campmates.

The DJ burst into the scene by co-writing and producing Chipmunk’s hit single ‘Diamond Rings’ featuring Emeli Sandé, released in 2009.

Naughty Boy has since gone on to work with the likes of Beyonce, Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and more.
