"Our child will always keep us a family"

Natasa Stankovic has opened up about her life following her separation from cricketer Hardik Pandya.

The model discussed her focus on co-parenting and navigating her personal journey after the split.

Natasa emphasised the importance of their son, Agastya, as the bond that keeps them connected as a family.

Despite speculation that she could return to her home country of Serbia, Natasa clarified that she has no plans to relocate.

Natasa, who visits Serbia annually, emphasised that her primary focus remains on Agastya’s upbringing in India.

She said: “I cannot move because of Agastya’s schooling in India.”

Natasa reinforced her commitment to raising their son in a stable environment.

She added: “We (Hardik and I) are still family. Our child will always keep us a family at the end of the day.

“A mother will always be there for her child, no matter the circumstances.”

Discussing the impact of public scrutiny, Natasa shared that she has grown resilient to people’s assumptions about her life.

She acknowledged the challenges of being in the spotlight, reflecting:

“People’s assumptions don’t affect me. I’m at peace with myself.

“Nothing or no one can shake my resolve.”

Raising Agastya has also played a significant role in Natasa’s personal growth.

She highlighted how motherhood has helped her recognise her self-worth.

Natasa explained: “Raising Agastya has taught me to love myself. Now, I know my worth, and I’m at peace with who I am.”

Natasa also addressed her decision to keep her private life out of the media limelight.

She said: “It’s not about hiding anything; it’s about respecting our privacy.”

Natasa prefers to focus on her family and career rather than engage in speculation.

She added:

“It’s impossible to please everyone. If I tried, I might as well go sell ice cream!”

In July 2024, Natasa and Hardik announced their separation, expressing mutual respect and a commitment to co-parenting Agastya.

A statement read at the time: “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways.

“We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us.

“This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.”

As she moves forward, Natasa Stankovic remains dedicated to being the best mother possible.

She reaffirmed: “I’m just concentrating on being the best mother I can be for Agastya.”
