"even if I do get recognised, I feel safe"
Mia Khalifa often travels to exotic locations but one UK town is her favourite stay.
The former adult film star revealed that Kent is one of the only places where she is not afraid to be herself.
She has even convinced friends that it is better than Miami.
Delving into specifics, Mia explained her love for Faversham.
She told Kent Online: “It’s so cosy. It’s so beautiful here. I love it so much.
“Everyone is so nice and, surprisingly, everything is here.
“When I brought my best friend here, who lives in Miami as well, he had the same reaction.”
Mia described how she is not afraid to show her face in the region like she is in other places across the world.
She continued: “This is the only place that I don’t wear a mask when I go around because no one gives a s***.
“First of all, even if I do get recognised, I feel safe – but I don’t get recognised for the most part. I feel safe staying here by myself.”
After her brief stint in the adult film industry, Mia Khalifa has been vocal on women’s rights and has spoken out against the harassment and abuse she encountered during her time as a pornstar.
She even stated that Kent would be a great place to raise a family.
“It’s really hard to be somewhere in America and feel like, ‘Oh, I could raise kids here’.
“You feel that here.
“You feel like you could raise kids here and they would have a good life and grow up to be decent people with values.”
Despite dining at some of the poshest restaurants, Mia declared the best oysters are in Whitstable.
She is so comfortable in the county that she even regularly visits a so-called ‘witch’ in Margate, who she claims keeps her “grounded”.
Mia added: “She tells my fortune. She guides my life.
“She is my therapist. She does everything for me.”

Mia Khalifa also enjoyed a trip to the Scottish Highlands.
Striking a seductive pose on the banks of Loch Ness, Mia looked glamorous as she donned a brown patchwork dress with a matching jacket and white nails.
Commenting on the trip, she wrote: “I tried to find Nessie, but she’s in Ibiza this time of year.”
