"I’d like to be known by millions."

ITV2’s Big Brother has returned with its youngest cast yet as 12 new housemates entered the house for the 2025 series.

Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best welcomed the contestants into the house ahead of a seven-week run. Only two of the housemates are over 27, making this the youngest line-up in the show’s history.

Among them is 39-year-old Gani Khan, a pizza shop manager from Bromley, originally from India.

He has been open about his hopes of turning his Big Brother appearance into something bigger.

Gani revealed: “I’d like to be known by millions.

“I see this as an opportunity not only for my personal growth, but also to help build the future of my personal brand.”

Explaining that he sees the show as a challenge in several ways, Gani said:

“On a personal level, being without a phone will be an impressive psychological experiment, one that I believe will teach me even more about myself.”

Gani describes himself as someone who lifts the mood around him:

“I am energy. I’ve been told that wherever I go there is a light. The atmosphere totally changes. I’ll definitely bring the happy vibe to the House.”

Gani is a big Dua Lipa fan and aspires to one day venture into acting, having previously created a casting profile.

Now, he is focusing on Big Brother as his route into stardom.

On whether he has a game plan, Gani confessed:

“I don’t think so. I think the best strategy is to just be myself. Being myself will take me far.”

Gani admitted he might be perceived by his fellow housemates in unexpected ways:

“When I’m triggered, I can raise my voice, and the other housemates may think that I’m being rude.

“It’ll either be that or that I’m speaking too much.”

Gani and his fellow housemates will be competing for a £100,000 prize.

Confident that he’ll triumph, Gani revealed how he would spend the money:

“I have got a plan.

“When I win the money, I’ll separate it into three portions.

“One goes for financial stability, one goes to my business and one goes to a deposit for a house. And then I will look to give some money to charity.”

With his ambitions clear, Gani joins the youngest Big Brother cast to date, as housemates battle it out over the coming weeks for the £100,000 prize.
