"And viewers will be hoping she’s there to stay.”
It is rumoured that stunning 22-year-old Shakira Khan from Manchester is set to light up the 2025 series of Love Island.
The gorgeous model is expected to make this series the hottest one yet.
Shakira’s Instagram is packed with spectacular travel snaps from Haiti, Dubai and New York. She’s not afraid to show off her figure in bikinis either.
A source told The Sun: “Shakira is jaw-droppingly gorgeous and will land a place in Love Island’s history books as a real beauty.
“Execs are finalising who will be in the OG line-up and who will be a bombshell, but Shakira is in the mix.
“And viewers will be hoping she’s there to stay.”
The 22-year-old joins the rumoured line-up alongside Aaron Buckett and Lucy Quinn.
Love Island and ITV have yet to announce any of the cast officially, but decisions on the opening line-up are expected soon.
But ITV has finally revealed when the show will return to screens. Hosted by Maya Jama, fans don’t have long to wait for the new series.
Love Island viewers have been eagerly awaiting news of the new summer series.
Some had started to think the show was delayed due to the lack of an official start date, until now.
The broadcaster, which first brought fans Love Island in 2015, confirmed the show will begin on June 9, with Maya welcoming a brand-new set of singletons to the famous villa.
The new Islanders will then try to “couple up” to avoid being “dumped from the Island”.
Usually, the show starts the week after the last May Bank Holiday. However, this year it begins a week later, on June 9.
The host teased the new series in the latest trailer, hinting at “more twists and turns.”
Looking sensational, Maya said: “This year, Love Island needs something bigger, something bolder, I want ideas.
“This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more makeups.”
“I want more twists, I want more twists than ever.”
As well as the summer instalment, Love Island is celebrating 10 years on screen with an anniversary special where Islanders from the past will return to share their experiences having appeared in the famous villa.
Meanwhile, Love Island: All Stars ended in February with Gabby Allen winning the title and £50,000 prize pot alongside Casey O’Gorman. However, the pair have since split.
