Madeha Naqvi's Show slammed for Fabricated Sensationalism f

"I did not go to meet my family."

Madeha Naqvi’s television show is known for inviting guests from various fields to share their experiences and struggles, however, the show is facing backlash.

Critics have accused the show of featuring fabricated and sensational content.

A clip from Madeha’s show has particularly drawn anger.

In the segment, a man explained how his parents sent him abroad for a better future but he failed to support them during their difficult times.

The man said: “I hope no one does what I did to my parents. My parents sent me to Dubai so that I would support my family.

“They wanted me to marry someone from Karachi but I married someone in Dubai.

“My father died and I could not go to the funeral because I was busy.

“Soon after, my partner’s son got married in Lahore and I had to attend the wedding. I did not go to meet my family.

“They were angry when they found out that I came to Pakistan but didn’t meet them. My mother got lung cancer and my family asked me for money for her treatment.

“I thought they were lying to get money out of me. My mother died. I could not get a ticket to Pakistan.”

Viewers were quick to call the story fabricated, questioning its authenticity and the show’s commitment to genuine content.

Social media users have drawn comparisons between Madeha Naqvi and television host Nida Yasir.

They suggest that Madeha is adopting a similar approach to sensationalism.

Netizens have also taken issue with the nature of the discussions featured on the show.

They argued that many of the topics discussed are ‘non-issues’ that do not resonate with the common man.

Furthermore, Madeha Naqvi’s hosting style has come under scrutiny. Some viewers have criticised her for frequently interrupting guests.

The response from both viewers and social media users indicates a strong desire for more genuine and relevant content.

A user wrote: “Madeha Naqvi has entirely copied Nida Yasir’s style and content.

“His story sounds completely fake. The questions as well as the answers are clearly staged.”

Another added: “The man’s facial expressions do not go with his words. He is so relaxed as if he is reading a story. It shows that they paid him good money to lie.”

One said: “All these morning show hosts bring someone every now and then and make them share their ‘horrifying’ stories.

“Then these hosts react in the same manner of shock and they attract views like this. Shameful behaviour.”
