“We should all support and watch Pakistani cinema.”

The makers of Love Guru have officially released the promotional song ‘AA Tenu’, with the music on ARY Digital’s official platforms.

Performed by Arif Lohar, Fiza Ali, and Roach Killa, the music video features the film’s lead pair, Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, in various looks.

However, the song has been created solely for promotional purposes and will not appear in the film itself.

Love Guru is an upcoming romantic comedy starring Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, set to release this Eid-ul-Azha.

The film is produced by Humayun Saeed, Shahzad Naseeb, and Jerjees Seja, with Salman Iqbal as the executive producer.

It is written by Vasay Chaudhary, known for his work on Jawani Phir Nahi Aani.

Alongside the lead pair, the film features an ensemble cast.

It includes Momina Iqbal, Mira Sethi, Sohai Ali Abro, Ammara Malik, Adnan Shah Tipu, Marina Khan, Annie Zaidi, Usman Peerzada, and Javed Sheikh.

The movie also has a surprise guest actor from the Pakistani film industry.

Many fans of Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed are excited about the movie.

However, social media reactions to the promotional song have been mixed.

Supporters of the film praised it for promoting Pakistani cinema, particularly in the current climate of rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

One fan wrote: “We should all support and watch Pakistani cinema.”

Another commented: “This looks amazing. This movie deserves to be watched in cinemas.”

Some fans also appreciated Mahira Khan’s presence, with one adding:

“Whatever they say, Mahira has an aura and class.”

On the other hand, many viewers expressed dissatisfaction with the song, feeling Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed were not age-appropriate for the roles.

Others criticised the choreography and use of an old song.

One user remarked: “Both Mahira and Humayun are too old for this role; they should have also cast their age fellow Mehwish Hayat.”

While promoting Love Guru in the USA, Mahira Khan also shared her thoughts on working in Bollywood.

She emphasised the need to focus on the Pakistani film industry, saying:

“I believe we should invest in ourselves, in Pakistan.”

Her statement sparked mixed reactions online, with some praising her maturity and others wishing for a more decisive stance on the Bollywood issue.

Fans of Pakistani film took to social media, expressing their belief that the industry should focus on its own growth.

One fan commented: “Instead of focusing on Hollywood or Bollywood, we should focus on our drama industry, which is Asia’s biggest industry.”

As the buzz around Love Guru continues, fans and critics alike eagerly await the film’s release this Eid.
