Canadian-Indian YouTube sensation and comedian, Lilly Singh has taken part in the WAP challenge but with a twist.
The WAP challenge is a worldwide TikTok dance challenge which has seen numerous celebrities recreate the dance routine.
Featuring American rapper Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s song, ‘WAP’ (2020), the track garnered a lot of attention for its explicit lyrics and music video.
The WAP challenge requires people to follow a dance routine created by a choreographer, Brian Esperon to go along with the track.
The Guam choreographer’s dance routine instantly went viral.
There is no doubt the dance routine requires a lot of stamina. Some people have decided to recreate this routine with a twist.
Comedian Lilly Singh has taken the WAP challenge to another level with a Bhangra twist.
Not only that but she dressed up as American politician Kamala Harris much to the joy of her followers.
Taking to Instagram to share the video, Lilly Singh captioned it:
“@kamalaharris doing a Bhangra version of the WAP challenge? Yes, obviously. What else am I going to do during lunch breaks on #SketchyTimes.”
There is no doubt Lilly Singh’s video attracted a lot of attention from her fans.
Commenting on the video, activist Harnaam Kaur wrote:
“Omg hahahaha what’re you like.”
Another fan was amazed by Lilly’s likeness to Kamala Harris saying:
“Your likeness to Kamala is amazing! Nailed it! Or is this actually Kamala on Lily’s channel.”
Indian actress Sameera Reddy also commented on the video: “Epic.”
Wrestler Mark Henry jokingly wrote: “I can do that!”
Another user appreciated Lilly’s reference to her culture. He wrote:

One user stated that Lilly Singh resembled Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit. She wrote:

Lilly Singh’s WAP challenge video has garnered over one million views on Instagram.
On the work front, Lilly Singh will be starring in two episodes of Sketchy Times with Lilly Singh.
The actress will be seen performing multiple sketches where she will portray characters from her popular YouTube channel.
Speaking about the comedy series, Lilly said:
“Ten years ago, I started playing every character in my sketches because my friends were all ‘stop annoying us to be a part of your skits.’
“With Sketchy Times, I’m going to play every character because me, myself and I have been training for his moment.”
