"I am definitely in love."
After months of speculation, Kushal Tandon has officially confirmed his relationship with Shivangi Joshi.
The couple, who appeared together in the TV show Barsatein-Mausam Pyaar Ka, sparked romance rumours during filming.
A video of Kushal planting a kiss on Shivangi’s cheek in June 2024 also went viral.
However, neither of them addressed the gossip at the time.
In an interview, Kushal opened up on his love for Shivangi.
He shared their decision to take things slowly.
When asked about marriage plans, the actor stated:
“I am not getting married right now, but I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. But it can happen ‘Kabhi bhi’.”
He humorously noted that his mother is eager for him to settle down.
Kushal Tandon shared that she would have him married immediately if it were up to her.
He expressed relief that his parents’ search for a suitable match has finally ended now that he is with Shivangi.
The actor also revealed that his parents have relocated from Lucknow to Mumbai but reaffirmed that their roots will always remain in Lucknow.
Reflecting on his childhood, Kushal recalled spending much of his early life away from home due to boarding school.
His higher studies in the United States also resulted in further time away.
Now that he is back in India, Kushal is keen to spend more time with his family.
The actor has plans to purchase a larger home in Mumbai for them all to live together comfortably.
Shivangi Joshi has also had her share of romantic links in the past.
Notably, she was rumoured to be dating Randeep Rai during their collaboration in Balika Vadhu 2.
However, she clarified back in 2022 that they were simply “good friends”.
Kushal Tandon’s relationship history includes a past romance with Gauahar Khan, which began on Bigg Boss 7.
During this particular season, Gauahar ultimately emerged as the winner.
The pair dated for about a year before parting ways in 2014.
With Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi officially dating, their fans eagerly await the next chapter in their love story.
