"That's all? That's all he's given you? That?"

The Apprentice winner Karishma Vijay showed a different side to Lord Sugar in a lighthearted TikTok video as she generates £250,000 a week after her triumph was aired.

Karishma and Pascha Myhill competed in the final but it was the former’s beauty business that convinced Lord Sugar to invest £250,000.

A week after the final, Karishma’s brand Kishkin Skin has attracted more than 7,000 customers.

It is not just the numbers drawing attention.

Karishma’s partnership with Lord Sugar has also gained significant visibility online, driven by a series of light-hearted social media clips that offer insight into their working relationship.

In one video, Lord Sugar jokingly apologises for repeatedly getting Karishma’s name wrong, quipping it is down to him being “an old fart”.

Another TikTok video featured Karishma telling Lord Sugar about her recent engagement.

After seeing her ring, Lord Sugar quipped:

“He’s a stingy sod whoever he is. Why don’t you get a bigger ring?

“That’s all? That’s all he’s given you? That?”

He then teased that he would attend Karishma’s upcoming wedding.

Karishma told him: “I’m doing a big Indian wedding.

“We’ll pay for it somehow.”

Lord Sugar replied: “You’ll pay for it. I ain’t paying for your bloody wedding.”

In another, Karishma persuades him into making a pinky promise to attend her wedding, before introducing him to a “bestie handshake”.

Fans praised their partnership and were surprised to see a more relaxed side of Lord Sugar.

One wrote: “I have never seen Lord Sugar so relaxed and casual. Well done @Karishma.”

Another added: “This is the duo we didn’t even know we needed.”

A third said: “You have brought the soft side and comedic side out of Lord Sugar. What a double act.”

Despite her success, Karishma revealed she only signed up to The Apprentice after losing £25,000 worth of stock in an unforeseen disaster that left her business in crisis.

She told Metro: “I ordered a shipment using the money that came in from our first sales.

“We were basically buying a bunch of oil, and we said, ‘Let’s put it on a ship and get it out here’. It will take maybe two or three months to get here by sea.

“I found out that it hadn’t even left Hong Kong.”

“There’d been a typhoon, and the ship had gone down, and my stock’s at the bottom of the ocean now. All my hard work is at the bottom of the sea.”

Things worsened when the Chinese brokers handling the deal cut contact, leaving her without financial protection or recourse.

Karishma continued: “So when I came on to The Apprentice, it was because I had nothing left to lose, really.

“I’d lost all this money, I’d lost all this product, and I’d lost hope in humanity slightly, because no one wanted to help me.”
