"It is the ultimate test of trust and betrayal"
Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for the Indian adaptation of The Traitors.
The series premieres on June 12, with new episodes releasing every Thursday at 8 pm, building up to a grand finale.
Hosted by Karan Johar, The Traitors places 20 celebrities at the royal Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan.
Their mission is to identify and eliminate ‘traitors’ hiding among them while competing for a major cash prize. The twist? The traitors are secretly chosen by Karan himself at the beginning of the game.
The show is produced by BBC Studios India Productions and distributed by All3Media International.
It is based on a format that has already been adapted in more than 30 countries, including the UK and the US, where it has become a global success.
For The Traitors India, the contestants are: Anshula Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elnaaz Nourouzi, Harsh Gujral, Jannat Zubair, Janvi Gaur, Jasmine Bhasin, Karan Kundrra, Lakshmi Manchu, Maheep Kapoor, Mukesh Chhabra, Nikita Luther, Purav Jha, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Sahil Salathia, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sufi Motiwala, and Uorfi Javed.
Each episode will see players take on psychological and physical challenges.
The ‘innocents’ must band together to identify the traitors, who secretly work against them. If they fail, they risk being eliminated one by one in a game built on deception and manipulation.

The trailer teases tense confrontations, secret strategies, emotional breakdowns and shocking reveals.
Karan Johar takes on a dual role, both host and provocateur, guiding the gameplay while observing every twist.

Prime Video is positioning The Traitors as a marquee title in its reality slate, banking on high drama and big names to draw in viewers.
