In September 2024, Bushra Ansari slammed Chahat, voicing her concerns about Pakistan’s growing viral culture.

She spoke about how individuals like him gain overnight stardom.

The actress said: “I am disheartened by how such content goes viral. I don’t understand this viral trend and the mindset behind it.”

Furthermore, she lamented the state of Pakistan’s music:

“It hurts me to see the open disrespect for music. The exploitation of classic songs like this is unbearable for me.”

In response to the backlash, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan expressed frustration and confusion over why well-known singers, anchors, and YouTubers oppose him.

He said: “I have worked hard for eight years to gain fame and earn my livelihood. I have invested my own money in my songs without any sponsorship.”

Vowing to continue his singing career despite the opposition, he declared:

“To those who want me to quit singing, I say more songs are coming, and I will keep singing.”
