Karan Johar recently took to Instagram to confess an exciting moment in his life.
The acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker pleasantly surprised everyone as he posed with the beloved Hollywood actresses Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.
The trio were seen at an event for the upcoming film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. It is a sequel to the blockbuster, The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
Karan looked smart in black attire, while Anne smiled in a cerulean blue top.
Meanwhile, Meryl exuded elegance, shining in black.
Underneath the post, Karan Johar wrote: “This is not a caption. This is a confession.
“I am singularly obsessed and inspired by the unmatchable brilliance of Meryl Streep.
“In many ways, she has been my guru in the art of acting & portraying characters across cinema!!
“I have watched The Devil Wears Prada no less than 47 times.
I have quoted it at dinner tables, in edit suites and in board meetings (no kidding!).
“So when I tell you that standing next to HER and them today, I felt the ground shift, please believe me.
“I tried very hard to be calm and composed but here’s a another confession – my knees were RATTLING!
“They were both so warm and welcoming. This image is going in my will.
“Stay tuned, there’s so much more…because I had a chat with the favourites of the season. OH and one more thing…that’s all.”

Apart from Meryl and Anne, The Devil Wears Prada 2 also stars Emily Blunt, Justin Theroux, Kenneth Branagh, and Stanley Tucci.
It is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2026.
Anne Hathaway will also be starring in Verity as the titular character.
Also featuring Dakota Johnson, it is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2018 novel.
On the professional front, Karan is gearing up for the release of Chand Mera Dil, directed by Vivek Soni.
Starring Lakshya and Ananya Panday, the film is due to hit cinemas on May 22, 2026.
It was also recently rumoured that Karan Johar may be planning the ninth season of Koffee With Karan.
The new season will allegedly feature shorter game segments and a wider variety of celebrities, not limited to film stars.
