"within a few minutes, he just told me, it’s over"
Netflix is developing a Love is Blind UK spin-off, and one of the most anticipated moments will be the reunion of Kal Pasha and Sarover Kaur Aujla.
Their relationship and dramatic split became one of the standout storylines of series two, and viewers will see the pair come face-to-face again.
The spin-off is expected to follow a format similar to the US show, Love is Blind: After the Altar. It will bring back familiar cast members and reveal how their lives have changed since filming.
A source told The Sun: ‘The spin-off series reunites couples, exes and fan favourites from the first British series.
“Among the familiar faces will be Megan and Kieran, celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Bobby and Jasmine, preparing to welcome their first child with a baby shower, and Kal and Sarover, meeting for the first time since their dramatic reunion revealed they had split.”
During the series, Kal and Sarover’s journey was heavily talked about, with fans praising their willingness to address how their cultural backgrounds could affect their relationship, with Kal being half-Pakistani and Sarover being British Punjabi.
The pair ended up getting married.
But in the reunion episode, it was revealed that they had separated.
Kal ended the relationship shortly after Christmas, with Sarover claiming he had “changed” after their marriage.
Describing the moment it was over, Sarover said on the Spill with Will podcast:
“He even said it to me whilst he was talking, like, ‘This will be coming across cold to you’, and within a few minutes, he just told me, it’s over, it’s the best decision for both of us.
“I will eventually understand and we’re very different people and there’s no spark and I’m more affectionate and emotional and that was it.
“I was in shock, because I thought, ‘Where did this come from?’. It honestly was [out of nowhere].”
Sarover also addressed the legal side of their marriage:
“It’s a real wedding and I feel like that baffles a lot of people.”
Detailing the impending divorce, she added:
“I hope [it’s] not [long]. The goal is, by 2026, I walk in as a strong, independent girl ready to find the one and not still tied to my past.
“We went into this with good intentions, I believe I definitely did.”
“I can’t see him making anything difficult later on, so I just hope we file it’s ‘I wish you well, wish you well’, done, that’s it.
“There’s nothing to go for, there were no kids involved, we didn’t move in together, there’s no mortgage, nothing like that at all, so hopefully comes with kindness and he comes with compassion and we just move on.”
The show will detail what the contestants have been up to since the show ended and for Sarover, she has been attending film premieres, doing fashion photoshoots and providing life updates with her fans.
The Love is Blind UK spin-off is expected to air in 2026, giving viewers a chance to see where Kal and Sarover stand today and whether their reunion brings clarity, closure or fresh tension.
