“The moment we have all been waiting for!”
Pakistani pop band Kaavish have delighted their fans by releasing a statement announcing they will make a return to live performances.
It comes after they released a studio version of their popular track ‘Faasle’ in June 2023.
The song was released on a trial basis but proved a hit when fans of the group requested that Kaavish continue their musical journey.
Kaavish revealed the information on Instagram with a photograph of the band members standing together and looking delighted as they broke the news with the simple caption:
“Kaavish has gone live!”
As the announcement was made, the comment section erupted with messages from excited fans who showered the group with love and support.
One comment read: “You have helped me live through so many dark nights, helped me celebrate the pain and made me fall in love with ‘love’ itself. Thank you.”
Another fan wrote: “This is the only thing that can fix everything in my life right now.”
Another added: “The moment we have all been waiting for!”
Singer Abdul Hannan commented to ask if he was dreaming following the good news.
Kaavish consists of musical maestros Jaffer Zaidi and Maaz Maudood, bassist Khalid Khan, guitarist Awais Kazmi and Louis J Pinto who plays the drums.
Lead singer Jaffer Zaidi belongs to a talented family and is the son of veteran actor Shehryar Zaidi and legendary singer Nayyara Noor.
The band came together in 1998 and is widely recognised for its soulful lyrics which are voiced in the mesmerising and unique voice of Jaffer.
Their songs include titles such as ‘Bachpan’, ‘Moray Sayyaan’, ‘Nindiya Re’ and the ever-popular ‘Tere Pyar Main’.
Although details have not been released about the new music, Kaavish’s announcement was enough to keep fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation of new music.
Kaavish is known for its heartfelt and poetic lyrics, which often explore the themes of love, relationships and introspection.
The band’s music is characterised by a fusion of various genres, including pop, rock, and classical influences, creating a unique and appealing sound.
One of the most notable achievements of the much-loved group is their participation in the popular Pakistani music platform Coke Studio.
They have delivered soul-stirring performances on Coke Studio, showcasing their musical prowess and gaining a broader audience.
