"It feels like home when he is around"
Janhvi Kapoor has broken her silence on her relationship with Orhan Awatramani.
Dating rumours have arisen as the pair have been seen together at a number of events.
Janvhi recently attended a Halloween party hosted by Orhan. The pair also celebrated Diwali together.
Orhan also shares pictures with Janhvi and comments on her Instagram posts.
Janhvi has now spoken about Orhan, nicknaming him “Orry”.
Addressing him as a “friend”, Janhvi said:
“I have known Orry for years now and he is someone who I not only have so much fun with, but he’s had my back for a long time, and I have had his back.
“It feels like home when he is around, and I trust him a lot.
“I think it’s rare to find friends, who will stand up for you the way he stands up for his friends. He is a great guy.”
Despite describing him as a friend, Janhvi did not reveal whether they are dating or not. It will be interesting to see how things pan out.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is being praised for her performance in Mili.
The film follows a nursing graduate who battles to survive after being locked inside a freezer.
Admitting the filming had an effect on her health, Janhvi said:
“I remember it (film) taking a genuine toll on my mental health because I would come back home after wrapping up shoot and I would go to sleep and dream that I was still in the freezer.
“I fell ill and I was on severe painkillers for two-three days and even the director was unwell.
“If you spend 15 hours of your day in a freezer in a closed environment crying for the majority of the day, sometimes with a rat that keeps nibbling your fingers, it is not glamorous for sure.”
Janhvi will also be seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao.
Janhvi also has Bawaal with Varun Dhawan.
She recently bought a new house in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The actress, along with father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor, bought a duplex house worth Rs. 65 Crore (£6.9 million).
The house is spread over 8,669 square feet, with a carpet area of 6421 square feet.
The property registration was completed on October 12, 2022, and Jahnvi is believed to have paid Rs. 3.9 Crore (£418,000) in stamp duty and registration fees.
