Despite actress Mandana Karimi having many high and low moments in life, she is once again under the spotlight as she shares a poem about sinning in life.
Whether it be suffering injuries or an unsuccessful marriage, Karimi has seen it all.
Many were in a state of shock when she filed a domestic violence case against her then-husband Gaurav Gupta and his family.
Tying the knot during March 2017, the marriage was intact only until July of that year.
On July 16, 2019, Karimi went on twitter to share an emotional poem, ‘The Sin’ by Iranian poetess Faorough Farrokhzad.
Within the post, she put a bold picture of herself alongside the poem. The lengthy poem begins with lines reading:
“I sinned, a sin all filled with pleasure wrapped in an embraced, warm and fiery”
“I sinned in a pair of arms that were vibrant, virile, violent.”
Towards the end her poetic expression comes out with the lines:
“Desire surged in his eyes, red wine swirled in the cup, my body surfed all over his in the softness of the downy bed.”

On a professional front, Karimi became known for playing a negative role in the Star Plus series Ishhqbaaz (2018). She portrayed the character of Nancy Malhotra.
Mandana made a special appearance in the Bollywood movie Roy (2015). She also came in several other films including Bhaag Johnny (2015), Main Aur Charles (2015) and Kyaa Kool Hai Hum 3 (2016).
She also participated as a top contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 9 (2015-2016).
