Punjabi artist Talwiinder is in the headlines for his romantic life, with speculation that he is dating Disha Patani. Rumours have also surfaced that he was in a relationship with model Sony Kaur.
Rumours rose after videos from Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s wedding celebrations went viral.
Footage showed Disha holding hands with Talwiinder, who is known for never revealing his face in public.
The pair appeared relaxed as they chatted and laughed at the event.
Disha was later seen with a mystery man at Mumbai airport, believed to be the singer.
Amid the speculation, Sony Kaur shared a cryptic post that read:
“It’s not only HIV and STIs, people are also carrying curses and bad luck. Be careful who you sleep with.”
This led netizens to believe that Talwiinder was her former boyfriend.
Sony later clarified her post.
Denying that she was ever in a relationship with Talwiinder, Sony insisted that it was not aimed at a particular individual.
She wrote: “My post was not directed at anyone.
“It was a general reflection on today’s culture, where intimacy is often treated casually rather than with respect.
“I do not know these individuals personally. I only ever had a brief, casual conversation in a social setting.
“Making this public is unethical and has resulted in unwanted attention, which I do not appreciate.”
Sony emphasised that she does not want her name associated with anyone else’s relationships, past or present, citing her long-standing career in the fashion industry.
She continued: “I have worked as a model for over 15 years and value my professional reputation. I do not wish to have my name linked to anyone’s past or present relationships.”
Sony concluded by distancing herself entirely from the speculation surrounding Talwiinder:
“I do not seek publicity through controversy. Please stop associating my name with Talwiinder. I do not know him beyond that brief interaction.”
Meanwhile, the rumoured romance between Talwiinder and Disha Patani continues to grab attention.
