It was initially titled Faria Farhad Ki Love Story. With Iqra’s Mannat Murad airing it’s last episode just days ago, fans are buzzing with excitement for her new role.

The serial is set to grace the screens of ARY Digital. It is said to be a mix of romance, drama and cultural aspects centralised around Karachi’s Burns Road.

The drama is directed by Fajar Raza, also the director of Mein, which has been trending recently.

So naturally, fans are very excited about what Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet will offer.

The show being penned by Parisa Saddiqui adds another layer of anticipation.

However, there are some of Hamza’s fans that are not happy with the pairing.

One fan commented: “Mother and son duo.”

Another remarked: “I am a huge fan of Hamza but this couple has the possibility of becoming a flop.

“Although Hamza is older than Iqra but here she looks way older than him. Let’s wait and pray.”

One said:

“Only Sehar looks good next to Hamza bhai.”

Many of Hamza Sohail’s fans were also of the opinion that Iqra’s acting is not up to the mark, believing she will bring their idol down.

One user wrote: “Iqra Aziz’s acting is dumb and she has awful expressions in all serials except Mannat Murad. Totally awful dumb acting.”

Another said: “I have never understood Iqra’s acting. She has no expressions at all.”

One commented: “I don’t like her acting.”

As fans and followers eagerly wait for the release date announcement, all are wondering how the fresh on-screen duo will perform.
