"I’m filled with gratitude."

Hamza Sohail and Sajal Ali recently starred in Zard Patton Ka Bunn (2024).

The series was directed by Saife Hasan and ran for 25 episodes. Hamza played Dr Nofil, while Sajal played Meenu.

Set in a conservative environment, a young and determined woman hunts for greater opportunities.

She embarks on a thrilling and exhilarating journey of self-discovery.

In November 2024, after the series concluded, Hamza Sohail bid a fond farewell to the show on Instagram.

He also paid tribute to Sajal and the entire team.

Posting a picture from the set, Hamza wrote:

“They say every story has an end, but some leave behind a mark that stays forever.

“As I bid farewell to Zard Patton Ka Bunn, a story of resilience, of dreams that refuse to be silenced, I’m filled with gratitude, reflection and a sense of accomplishment that’s hard to put into words.

“A heartfelt thank you to the iconic director, whose vision gave every single scene depth and beauty.

“Not only one of the greatest directors of our country but a mentor.

“Nothing short of an honour to learn from his incredible experience!

“I was also lucky enough to witness the brilliance of our gem of a writer as he wove some very powerful themes into a story that never felt preachy.

“And for that, he has my utmost respect Truly one of a kind!”

Praising Sajal, Hamza Sohail continued:

“What more can be said about Sajal Ali that hasn’t already been said? The gold standard of acting.

“A true titan of artistry. A force to be reckoned with! Working alongside an artist of her calibre, who has mastered her craft to a level of precision that is simply unparalleled, was nothing short of an education.

“The way she brought Meenu’s story to life with depth left us all in awe.

“Truly honoured and humbled to have shared the screen with a living legend!

“To my castmates, who were giants in their own right, and to the crew who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, you are the backbone of this project!

And to the incredible, incredible fans who supported us from the beginning, thank you!

“Your love, enthusiasm, and belief in the story gave us the strength to tell it as it deserved to be told.”

ZPKB may have ended, but the conversations it sparked, the hope it inspired, and the love it received will stay with me forever.

“Here’s to more stories that touch hearts, inspire change and remind us of the power we have when we choose to stand together.

“Let’s all embrace compassion and build a world where love is louder than prejudice.”
