"Brides will no more be shy or coy on their big days."
A stunning Indian bride in Kerala, India has captured the hearts of millions worldwide as she surprised her groom and guests with her amazing entrance as she danced her way in.
Typically, a bride is known to enter the wedding reception in a rather shy and timid manner. Yet it seems this bride had other plans.
The Indian bride, identified as Anjali, ditched the conventional entrance associated with a bride and opted for a fun-filled dance sequence she performed alongside her bridesmaids.
The dance performance which was captured in a video was shared online and instantly went viral.
The one minute and eight-second video provided a glimpse of the perfectly choreographed routine.
In the video, Anjali can be seen donning a traditional red bridal ensemble as she grooves to the song, ‘Malaiyiru’ (2010). She continues to shake a leg as she makes her way to the stage.
According to Manorama Online, the Indian bride wanted to surprise her husband-to-be, Varun with her dance entrance.
However, her husband-to-be and his reaction are not shown in the video.
Anjali’s dance, which was allegedly filmed at the CR Auditorium in Kannur, garnered over 76,000 views on Facebook before being shared on other social media platforms like YouTube and Twitter.
The Indian bride received inundated praise for her dance video. One Twitter user by the name Karan Kapoor said:
”Be prepared folks. This is Year 2020. Brides will no more be shy or coy on their big days. See how a bride makes her entrance for her wedding in Cannor, Kerala.”

Soophi on Twitter also supported Anjali saying: “When marriage is the D day for the lady she has to give away everything and anything, why not (be) merry and have fun in the beginning, nothing wrong I guess, keep up the good work and happy days to begin.”
On Twitter, the video has been viewed more than 50,000 times.
Despite many applauding Anjali’s entrance, she has also received negative reactions. A Twitter user by the name Ravi Sharma said: ‘’Too old school to like this.’’
Another user by the name RJ on Twitter said: “Not cool.”
This is also not the first time a bride has steered away from a conventional entrance.
Previously a bride in Ahmedabad went viral on social media for arriving on a bike to her wedding.
Let’s see whether the year 2020 will see brides swap the traditional entrance for a quirkier one.
