Pooja has created the ideal cake to match Aishwarya's look.
Ever wondered what Bollywood’s Cannes 2017 gowns would taste of? A strange thought, yet an Indian baker has answered this question with her extraordinary skills.
Pooja Dhingra, a pastry chef, has shared images of her Cannes-inspired creations on Instagram. Capturing the styles of Deepika, Aishwarya and Sonam, her cakes look beautiful and delicious.
She created them with the help of her business, Le 15 Patisserie. The series of desserts began on 24th May 2017, as Pooja announced:
“We at Le 15 decided to interpret some of our favourite looks and give them a new avatar – in the form of dessert!”
The images have now turned into viral hits, as many take to comment on the Indian baker’s imagination and craftsmanship.
For example, let’s take a look at this exquisite cake, based on Sonam’s ‘Golden Girl‘ look on her second Cannes 2017 appearance.
This four-tier chocolate cake appears just as regal as the star herself. Covered in shimmering gold icing, one can see floral embellishments decorating the cake.
With flavours of rich chocolate and champagne, this creation serves as the ideal indulgence.
Pooja Dhingra has also used Deepika Padukone’s ‘Ethereal Enchantress‘ look as a muse for her delectable macaroons.
Infused with red wine, these chocolate macarons reflect the glamour of Deepika’s gown. Decorated with gold floral embellishments, the macarons show a dark wine-coloured shell. Encasing a chocolate filling, many have commented in complete awe of Pooja’s work.
One fan commented: “Love this series [Pooja Dhingra]! Such a fun idea!”
The Indian baker has not just stuck to the red carpet looks. In this creation, Pooja became inspired by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s floral day attire.
This hails by far as her masterpiece!
This ambitious project comprised of a two tier sponge cake. Pooja decorated it with dark green icing, replicating the flowing design of Aishwarya’s gown.
Following the detailing of the dress, the Indian baker added the colourful stripes and floral patterns. Overall, Pooja has created the ideal cake to match Aishwarya’s look.
And with white chocolate and matcha flavours, it sounds truly delicious.
The Indian baker has not just created the dazzling looks from Bollywood stars. She also became inspired by some of Hollywood’s red carpet looks.
Recreating dresses worn by Naomie Harris and Elle Fanning, she has crafted wonderful desserts, such as a rainbow cake and pistachio cupcakes!
These wonderful delights also show the passion Pooja has for baking. On Instagram, she continues to wow fans with her skill by showcasing some of her magnificent creations.
We are still amazed by these wonderful cakes. If only we could try them ourselves.
