Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan turns baker to make a birthday cake for his sister’s birthday, however, the star failed miserably.

Undoubtedly, the lockdown due to the Coronavirus has given members of the Bollywood industry ample time off from their otherwise hectic schedules.

Kartik Aaryan has been spending quality time with his family and celebrated his sister Dr Kritika Tiwari’s birthday with her after seven years.

To mark the special occasion, Kartik decided to put his baking apron on and dabble in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, his baking attempt did not end well as the actor failed to impress. In fact, what was supposed to be a small cake turned into a rather large flat biscuit.

Kartik took to Instagram to share pictures with the birthday girl as well as showing his masterpiece.

He shared a series of pictures which showed his flattened cake decorated with the initial K. He captioned it:

“Lockdown ka fayda – Celebrating Kittu’s bday together after 7 years. Chota Cake Banane gaya, Bada Biscuit ban gaya.

“Happy Birthday Doctor KiKi .. Pride of the family.”

Despite his miserable failed attempt, it appeared his sister enjoyed the effort by her brother.

Sharing a picture of his sister cutting the big biscuit-like cake adorned with two candles, Kritika was all smiles.

During the lockdown, Kartik Aaryan has been keeping his fans up-to-date with glimpses from his life at home.

Previously, the actor also shared a video of his family on Instagram. In the video, his father and sister can be seen watching his film, Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019) on television. He captioned it:

“Apni picture Sunday ko Family ke saath baithke TV pe dekhne wali feeling [The feeling of watching your film on television with your family on a Sunday] … Still unbeaten. And Mummy never waits for credits.”

It also appears Kartik is helping India fight against the deadly Coronavirus.

The actor pledged to donate Rs 1 crore to the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM-CARES) Fund. On Instagram, Kartik wrote:

“It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a nation.”

“Whatever I am, whatever money I’ve earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us I am contributing Rs 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund.

“I URGE all my fellow Indians also to help as much as possible.”

It is great to see Kartik Aaryan doing his bit to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

We also wonder what he’ll be getting up to next in the kitchen.
