Imran Ashraf & Sarah Khan to reunite for ‘Namak Haram’

After the success of Raqs-e-Bismil, Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan are set to share screen space once again in ‘Namak Haram’.

After starring in Raqs-e-Bismil, Imran Ashraf and Sarah Khan will reunite in the upcoming drama serial Namak Haram.

The latest offering has been written by Saqlain Abbas and directed by Shaqielle Khan.

Although further details of Namak Haram have not yet been revealed, fans and followers of the actors have expressed eagerness for the latest project.

Earlier in April 2023, Imran and Sarah set hearts racing when they revealed that they wanted to work together on a project again.

Imran had tagged Sarah on Instagram and put forward the idea of the two working together again.

Sarah replied by saying Moosa and Zohra (their characters in Raqs-e-Bismil) needed to be reunited in a new image.

One comment read: “Can’t wait to see you both on-screen again.”

Another said: “OMG! I can’t wait!”

The pairing proved to be popular and Raqs-e-Bismil quickly became one of the most popular Pakistani shows of 2020.

Both Imran and Sarah have made their mark in the entertainment industry, and have constantly wowed the audiences with their stellar performances and the ability to pick exciting scripts.

Sarah has proven many times that she is a talented actress who has the ability to take on board any type of character and do it justice.

Her biggest examples are her roles in serials such as Sabaat and Hum Tum.

Sabaat saw Sarah play Miraal, a highly egoistic and controlling character who takes charge of her brother’s life after he falls in love with a girl from a different social class.

The drama starred Ameeri Gilani, Mawra Hocane, Laila Zuberi, Seemi Raheel and Syed Mohammad Ahmed.

On the other hand, Sarah was seen as a totally different character in Hum Tum.

She played Maha, a shy girl, obsessed with healthy eating and staying in shape, who is unaware of the feelings of the neighbour’s son.

The drama starred Junaid Khan, Ramsha Khan, Arjumand Rahim and Ahad Raza Mir.

Imran Ashraf shot to fame for his role as Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, in which he played a mentally challenged individual.

The role proved so popular that Imran has been asked many times to act like Bhola.

He has also starred in dramas such as Dil Mom Ka Diya, Alif Allah Aur Insan, Mushk and Tabeer.

Imran has also ventured into the movie industry and has been a part of the films Dum Mastam and Dulha Mil Gaya.
